Salt Lake City to those who have never been is poorly understood- it’s a friendly, clean, and modern city- although when you mention Salt Lake an images of Mormons pulling hand carts and a conservative ethos is conjured up. Nothing could be further from the truth- SLC has been ranked as one of the most “gay friendly” cities and (the region) is in the top five tech locations in the United States. Mind blowing, right? For the past few years we’ve attended the SLC ComiCon, although after the lawsuit with the San-Diego ComiCon, it’s now called FanX. Many A-listers come to the event and it’s always a very enjoyable experience. Even though we won’t live in Utah anymore, we still visit often, and this is no exception.
